Meet your body again.

A place to arrive, exhale and feel supported. A personal, body-led approach beyond tension, pain and constant effort—towards trust, presence and possibility.

Not only the physical body—the whole of you: body, mind and spirit.

01 — The invitation

First, we arrive.

We begin by observing and feeling—without needing to change anything. Calmness, support and the sense of being in good hands create the ground from which the body can soften, communicate and be met.

The philosophy

Less fixing. More listening.

Feel everything. Assume less.

BodyRevisit begins with a simple understanding: body, mind and spirit are not separate parts. They are deeply connected and inseparable.

What we live through can influence how we breathe, move, rest, protect ourselves and connect with others. At the same time, the human system is adaptable; patterns are not necessarily permanent.

Through attentive touch, movement, breath, stillness and compassionate human connection, we create conditions in which another experience can become possible. We do not impose correction or promise a fast fix. We begin with questions, meet the whole person and follow the body’s rhythm.

Who this is for

Your first session

Nothing to perform. Nothing to prove.

We begin with a conversation. You do not need a diagnosis or a perfect explanation. Together, we notice what is present and agree on the pace, the form of touch and the direction of the session.

03 — The BodyRevisit method

A conversation beneath words.

More than thirty years of movement, dance and body practice meet Shiatsu, massage, yoga, breath, nervous-system awareness and deep relaxation.

Modern care is often fragmented: one approach for the body, another for the mind, another for the spirit. In fast-moving lives and workplaces, wellbeing can become another quick fix—manage the symptom, restore performance and move on. BodyRevisit offers a different process. We approach the body holistically, meeting body, mind and spirit as deeply connected and inseparable. We do not force an outcome or supply ready-made answers. We listen, ask questions and work with what emerges. For individuals and teams, this creates conditions for sustainable recovery, clearer awareness, connection and renewed capacity.

The BodyRevisit foundations

One practice. Many pathways.

BodyRevisit is the house; the modalities are different doors. What holds them together is not one technique, but a way of meeting the person.

A questioning practice

We keep learning—and remain honest about what we know.

BodyRevisit evolves through continuing study, practice and careful observation. New ideas are not accepted simply because they are fashionable or presented as scientific. Research matters. So do professional experience and the knowledge each person carries about their own body. Where evidence is still developing, we remain transparent, humble and curious.

  1. 01Is it safe?
  2. 02Is it biologically plausible?
  3. 03What does current research support?
  4. 04Is it useful in practice?
  5. 05How does it relate to lived experience?
  6. 06Where are its limits?

04 — The practitioner

Mata Sakka

Creator of BodyRevisit

Mata Sakka, creator of BodyRevisit

“The more I learned to listen, the less I needed to impose. The session became a space where something new could unfold.”

Mata is a movement therapist, massage and Shiatsu practitioner, certified hypnotherapist, yoga teacher and professional dancer. Her work is informed by decades of embodied practice and by supporting people through pain, stress, change and recovery.

She works in English, German and Greek, in person and online.

Before you arrive

Do I need to know which modality to choose?

No. You may begin with BodyRevisit or with a familiar form such as Shiatsu or massage. We decide together what is supportive today.

How should I prepare for my session?

No special preparation is needed. For Shiatsu, wear clean, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Deep-tissue and other oil-based massage is usually received in underwear with secure, professional draping; only the area being treated is uncovered. I use high-quality body oils and creams. Fragrance-free products are always available, and aromatherapy oils are used only if we choose them together. Please tell me about any allergies or sensitivities.

Who is BodyRevisit for?

Adults of every age are welcome—from 18 to 98 and beyond. Every session is adapted to your body, mobility, experience and pace.

Is BodyRevisit available online?

Yes. Online sessions use movement, breath, self-massage, body awareness, relaxation and guided imagery.

Do I have to talk about everything?

No. Words are welcome, but they are not demanded. The body can be met gently, at your pace.

05 — Client reflections
